Whether you’re new to AWS and Machine Learning (ML) or want to build on existing skills, join our virtual event exclusive to Australian universities.

Discover reinforcement learning, a branch of ML used in autonomous vehicles. Train your model in a cloud-based 3D simulator. Submit your times to a Community Race leader-board. Compete against colleagues and peers from universities across Australia in a virtual, risk-free environment. The AWS DeepRacer cars are virtual, but the prizes are real! Amazon Devices, AWS Credits, and AWS DeepRacer swag are up for grabs!

Join the 3-hour virtual kick-off workshop to learn all you need to get started with AWS DeepRacer and reinforcement learning, along with an AWS account for you to start training.

7th-15th of June
The leader-board will be live for 1 week and will run until 10am, Tuesday, June 15th.

Spend as little or as much time as you like learning, training, submitting, and competing!

Join us for regular ‘Office-Hours’ and a support chat channel where you can ask questions and learn from the AWS team.

Tuesday 15th June, 2PM - 3PM
Celebrate at the finish line with us at the virtual awards ceremony - with prizes for the top times submitted.

The competition is virtual, but the prizes are real!
